About

The technical playbook
for homeowner roofs.

RoofingTechPro is the homeowner-facing technical reference for roof decisions in 2026 — replacement, storm-damage insurance claims, materials, post-ITC solar pairing, lifespan, and how to hire a roofer worth hiring. Every state. Plain English.

What we do

We translate the technical reality of roofing into decisions homeowners can act on. Roofing is a regional product — material spec depends on climate zone, cost depends on local labor rates, insurance behavior depends on state market dynamics, and solar economics depends on whatever survived your state’s post-ITC incentive landscape. The site is organized around six hubs and 50 state pages so you find your specific situation fast.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell roofing leads to a network. We don’t take paid placement from contractors, manufacturers, or insurance carriers. We don’t soften the post-ITC solar economics to keep installers happy. We don’t pretend every storm warrants a claim. The find-a-roofer service is one-to-one (or small explicit panel) matching against vetted local roofers, not a one-to-many lead-spam funnel.
