Utility rebates for reflective roofing exist in some southern service territories and not in others, and they are usually tied to a listed rating rather than a brand. How Cool Shingles Interact With Ventilation And Insulation
Reflectance, ventilation, and insulation attack the same problem at three different points, and the reflective shingle is the weakest of the three on its own.
